Terms of Service
The terms that apply to foundations, schools and every user of SekolahOS: accounts, acceptable use, personal data, payments and liability.
Parties and acceptance
These terms apply between Elsia (the provider of SekolahOS) and the customer foundation or school, and every user who signs in to SekolahOS (staff, teachers, parents/guardians and students). By signing in or using the service you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. The foundation's subscription contract still applies and prevails where it differs.
Accounts and security
Accounts are created and managed by the school or foundation admin. You are responsible for keeping your password, PIN, one-time codes and the devices you sign in with confidential, and for telling the school admin at once if you suspect misuse. One account is for one person only.
Acceptable use
Use SekolahOS only for education and school administration. You must not access data that is not yours, try to bypass security controls or the separation between foundations, upload unlawful or offensive content or malicious code, disrupt the service, or use it for marketing messages without the recipient's consent.
Personal data
The foundation or school is the data controller for the data entered into SekolahOS, and SekolahOS processes it as data processor under Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection. Processing details, data subject rights and data security are set out in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
Fees and payments
Subscription fees and usage limits follow the plan the foundation agreed. School fees, wallet top-ups and other transactions inside SekolahOS are processed by licensed payment providers; SekolahOS is not a bank and holds no funds beyond recording the transactions. Transaction disputes between parents and the school are settled by the school, with the help of SekolahOS audit records.
Service availability
We work to keep the service available at all times, but scheduled maintenance, third-party provider faults (network, WhatsApp, payments, notifications) or events beyond our control may interrupt it. The current service status is published on the status page.
Intellectual property and content
SekolahOS, including its software, design and brand, belongs to Elsia. Data and content entered by the foundation remain the foundation's; the foundation grants us a limited right to process them in order to run the service.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, SekolahOS is provided as is and our liability is limited as set out in the subscription contract. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for decisions a school takes based on data the school entered itself.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or endangers the security of the service. When a subscription ends, the return and deletion of data follow the Data Processing Agreement and the data retention policy.
Changes and governing law
These terms may be updated; material changes are announced in the service or to the foundation admin. They are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, and disputes are first settled by consultation before going to the competent courts in Indonesia.
